Gina Cody School of Engineering and Computer Science and the MIAE Graduate Student Committee are happy to host the speech of Dr. Vasiliy Krivtsov, Reliability Analytics Director at Ford Motor and Professor at University of Maryland. Join us on October 4, 11am for an exciting 1h speech on the reliability-related challenges faced by the modern industry. Topics covered:
- intelligent and autonomous vehicles – interaction among vehicles
- reliability challenges for autonomous vehicles
- data collection and use for prognostics
- challenges on using data and respect user’s privacy
- reliability as a key selling point or image of the Company
- currently deployed methods vs. academic
- future methods in the context of the model-based system engineering environment
